Is there a parking lot behind the restaurant?
Terrelle Pryor the receiver?
If they are expect to pay more for your meal, not as good as it use to be, and if you want another serving of garlic bread $3.00 more, oh you might want liver Pate is well, another $3.00 My feet will never cross their doorway again just not worth it
Excellent food with king size helpings!
The food is so delicious and the service is wonderful! Love eating here!
Wow ! Lisa is friendly and Rayanna greeted us with care . Thankfully for a recommendation from the last restaurant guest at Humbugs. We have prompt service a welcome fantastic service and food. If I could give a 10 I would.
Beautiful remodel! Stunning new bar area. Still awesome Italian specialties with their famous American favorites. Very friendly and helpful staff.Highly recommended.
Massie's has been part of SGF for decades. Jonathan has taken it to another level with his featured entrees. Have never had a bad meal, great atmosphere and great food. Ask for Darren he will give you awesome service.
Place is awesome! Food is real good!
Has that eating at Nona's feel, love that older vibe in the dining room goes with the home cooked taste of the incredible food.
Great local spot. Food is freshly prepared and delicious. They make though feel like you're at home. Vey welcoming staff. Two thumbs up
The chef halibut risotto and fried spinach was absolutely delicious a must-try. The bartender makes a great dessert martini
Great food and atmosphere. Even just to sit at the bar and have some apps and cocktails. Staff was super friendly. Will be back.
Excellent food and service. Highly recommended. Reservations should have. Though not needed, dress up.
So amazing, tonight. I had the Smoked Veal Shank. So aromatic! Savory. Asparagus roasted and seasoned perfectly. I also had the Ministrone soup. Hubby had the pork loin with spaghetti side. He was so stuffed. They have the best garlic bread!!!
Good food and service. Not a cheap date!
Spaghetti sauce not like it used to be. Sadly disappointed
Same great Italian food with nice family atmosphere
We haven't eaten here in a few years. The meals were as good as we remembered. I had the chicken parmesan, yum. We liked the remodel.
Excellent food and service. Atmosphere is a bit lacking for what the prices are. Little things can add up, like cheap table cloth with rips in it, while I'm eating my $35 plate.
Amazing! Great job with the new place
The place was freezing and the food had so much salt that it was inedible!!!
Food was great, service was great! It was nice to see the place spruced up. I have been going there since a young girl, was happy for the cosmetic changes and food changes.
Incredible food, service and ambience. Best braciole ever! Brian knows how to run the show!
Great food and staff.
Manicotti, veal scallopini,fried bread excellent
Haven't been there in a long time. We wanted to check out the remodel. They did a great job. I always like to sit in the bar area. The chicken parm was good. Sauce a little salty. Portion sizes were big. Love to take doggie bags home!
Tried a new dish I have never had. Braciole it was delicious. Will be going back.
Wow. Great entrees and service. Do not pass on the pate. I did not really like the carrot cake but tiramisu was very good.
Awesome Place to go with hockey kids and hockey parents!! They just accomadated 51 people a day before and WERE THE BEST!!!! Totally recommend!! Went her 5 years ago and they still live up to the food and service👍👊🏻👏 We Thank You!!!! We will be back!!! 👍👍👍👍👍
This had to have been the most over priced Italian I've ever had. Service was good, but the food was terrible.
Visited Lake George for vacation and wanted to eat at an Italian restaurant. Massie's was perfect, the service is great and the food is delicious! When in the area it is a top option for dinner.
I have loved this restaurant for 30 years. Love the pizzaiolo and the brasciola...can't get enough. Great renovation, but still the same old Massie's from 1929.
I grew up in a Italian family . Been to olive garden . Been to many family restaurants. Went to school for culinary arts. Owned a restaurant. This new owner has put into this business what the past owners forgot about . Passion! The love of the culture! It shows when you walk into the door. The new bar the new equipment in the kitchen. The chef / owner displays the same passion and intent on plating up his talent into every recipe and order served ! His specials show his knowledge of flavor and pairing of food ! Took a old and well known established restaurant and made it better ! Cheers !!
Food and service was good. I had the chicken parm, family had lasagna and chicken marsala. Wish they had a round table, and the dinning room was chilly. Darren was our waiter and he did a great job.I remember going there 18 years ago as a child. The pate they serve with the bread is amazing!
I use to say it's a very good place to eat. Now it's disappointing, small iceberg lettuce salad, a cup of soup instead of a bowl, and only one small cup, garlic toast and liver pate. It's a small ice cream scoop of Pate and if you want a second helping of garlic toast and pate is $3.50 for the toast and $3.50 for the little scoop of that day, it used to be free unlimited. I guess the new owner wants to pay his mortgage off relatively quickly because his prices have also gone up immensely. I told the hostess that my feet will never cross their doorway again very disappointed but the Russo's don't own it anymore. I would not recommend going there the food is good but not worth it
One of their "regulars" was there with a group, and he has the loudest, most annoying, constant guffaw!! I mentioned it to our waitress. Many diners looked his way in disgust. Otherwise, the food and service were fine.
yet another incredible meal and great service!
Great local, family friendly favorite!
I learned tonight that the restaurant had changed hands some 3 or 4 years ago.It doesn't matter, the new owner, the waitresses, the facility itself, all the same with very very good food ,top-notch Italian food and that's what I love. My family and I have been eating at Massies since the early 70s , and I would recommend this restaurant to anybody that loves Italian food and family owned and operated quality. Our waitress's name was Jill
Amazing service. I had the steak with mashed potatoes. Very good food!
Not like it used to be small portions and bland food
Been 3 times since the remodel and it is exceptionally good !!
Good food and atmosphere. Classic Italian family restaurant.
Great place Great food!! Nice people!!
You have a choice of a'la cart or soup, salad and relish dish with liver pate included with your meal. We went for the whole shebang. So good, we will definitely be back.
Freshly back from a really attractive renovation, food is as great as it was before but with a whole new modern vibe. The pasta is freshly made and the garlic bread is the best you'll have. I would highly recommend to try it, as Massie's is one of our favorite local spots to visit.
Excellent food, service and atmosphere- would definitely return!
Comfortable, welcoming place. I really liked the garlic bread and amazing liver paste (who would ever have thought I would say that!). The minestrone soup was very flavorful. The entrees were OK, but not superb. The sauce was homemade and not very salty, which was a very good thing, but nothing stood out about the Eggplant Parmesan or the Spaghetti and Meatballs. The waitress (Catie) was very nice. I'd be willing to go again, especially since I've heard so many people raving positively about this restaurant.
Dinner absolutely incredible. Wait staff excellent. There was a group of 8 at a table with one gentleman in particular who was the life of the party. Very infectious laugh that brought life and entertainment to the restaurant. I understand he is a regular. It's nice to see ,especially with the times we are in, that people can still relax have fun and enjoy a great meal. I highly recommend this restaurant
The food was not Italian. Sauce was horrible
New owner/chef Jonathan Greenwood has taken the original, time tested Russo family recipes and given them new life. He's also added his own new & innovative nightly specials. The old world decor has a new shine on it & the atmosphere is warm, cozy & inviting. Some menu items are a tiny bit pricier, but still family budget friendly. Highly recommended to longtime, loyal Massie's fans & new, soon to be regulars alike!
Italian is great, but Friday and Saturday nights excellent prime rib makes me go for the combo
